Strawberry Thumbprint Butter Cookies
- Tree Top Strawberry Variegate 509242
- 220 g unsalted butter, softened
- 138.60 g sugar
- 4.10 g salt
- 3.8 g egg yolk
- 352 g all-purpose flour
Beat softened butter and sugar together until smooth. Add salt, vanilla, egg yolks and mix until well blended. Add flour; mix until blended into a dough.
Flatten dough and wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hours.
Allow dough to warm for half an hour. Lightly flour surface. Roll out dough to 3/8” thickness. Cut into 1.5” pieces. Press center slightly with thumb to create indentation. Fill indentation with 1 teaspoon of Tree Top Strawberry variegate 509242.
Bake at 350°F fo9r 12 minutes.
