Tree Top



1 cup Tree Top Apple Sauce

1 cup Tree Top 38º Brix Apple Purée

1 (9 inch) unbaked crust

4 tbsp butter, melted

1 tbsp corn starch

3 eggs

⅛ tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup chopped pecans

Whole pecans for the top of pie


Preheat oven to 450ºF. 

In large bowl, cream the butter, apple sauce and apple puree. Beat in the eggs, corn starch, salt and vanilla. Stir in the chopped pecans. Pour filling into pie shell.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 325ºF (165ºC) and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
