Dark Sweet Cherry Turnovers
- 110 g Tree Top Frozen Dark Sweet Cherries
- 1 pkg. frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
- Cherry Jam
- 34 g white
- 14.80 g water
- 36 g turbinado sugar
Preheat oven to 425 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll puff pastry into a 12″x 12″ square; cut into 9 squares. Place a teaspoon of cherry jam on each square; top evenly with frozen cherries.
Whisk together egg white and water. Brush edges of each square with egg white mixture. Fold each square into a triangle, pressing edges to seal. Brush top of each pastry with remaining egg white mixture, and sprinkle evenly with sugar.
Place turnovers on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
