Caramel Apple Cupcakes


110 g Tree Top IQF Granny Smith Dices, ½” x ½”

1 package spice cake mix

20 g or 35 caramels

61 g evaporated milk

56 g chopped peanuts



Preheat oven to 350 F. Line muffin tins with paper baking cups.

Prepare cake mix according to package directions; stir in apples. Spoon into muffin cups, fill two-thirds full. Bake 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; remove to wire rack to cool.

Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the caramels and evaporated milk. Stir until caramels are melted and smooth.

Spread caramel mixture over cupcakes; immediately sprinkle with peanuts, pressing in slightly. Store covered in an airtight container.

Makes 14-15 cupcakes.
