Apple Sauce Brownies
- 244 g Tree Top Apple Sauce
- 111 g butter, melted
- 330 g brown sugar
- 100 g eggs
- 8.40 g vanilla
- 160 g all-purpose flour
- 38 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4.60 g baking powder
- 2.30 g baking soda
- 50 g chopped pecans, optional
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour an 8-inch square baking dish.
Mix together butter, sugar, applesauce, eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda in medium bowl. Add to applesauce mixture; stir to combine. Stir in pecans.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a wire rack. Slice into squares.
