Apple Meat Pie
- 65 g Tree Top Low Moisture or Evaporated Apple Dices
- Pastry for two 9” crusts
- 1 lb. lean ground beef (browned)
- 700 g potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 75 g onion, chopped
- 9 g salt
Preheat oven to 425 F. Line pie plate with bottom crust.
Mix together the ground beef, potatoes, apples, onions, salt and pepper. Heap mixture into lined pie dish. Cover with top crust. Pinch edges to seal. Prick top with a fork.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until contents are tender and crust is browned.
Makes 8 servings.
