Cheddar-Stuffed Turkey Burgers with Peach Ketchup



2 lbs. Ground Turkey (or Beef)

113 g to 169 g cup White Cheddar or Harvarti Cheese, shredded

13.5 g Canola Oil

Leaf Lettuce (optional)

8 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Peach Ketchup

247 g Tree Top Cling Peach Puree

30 g Sugar

59 g Cider Vinegar

2 g Chili Powder

0.25 g Cinnamon

Dash Cayenne Pepper




In a large bowl, lightly mix turkey with half of the Peach Ketchup (recipe below), ½ tsp. salt, and ¼ tsp. black pepper; divide into 8 balls. Make an indentation in center of each ball and fill with some cheese. Shape meat around cheese. Flatten into patties.

In a 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add half the burgers and cook about 5 minutes or until well browned. Turn and cook 5 minutes more or until no pink remains (165 F). Repeat with remaining patties.

Serve on lettuce-lined buns with additional peach slices and remaining Peach Ketchup.

Peach Ketchup:

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Blend until smooth.
