Tart Cherry

June 26, 2015 | 0 min read

Tart cherry harvest in Othello, WA is about 5 days away. The crop looks to be average, and about 10 days early. Brix levels and size are the concerns with 100+ degree days forecasted for tart cherry. Generally the fruit will be smaller and will have less sugar. Size doesn’t impact tart cherry like it does dark sweet, but brix is a big concern.
