California Tree Fruit – March 26, 2019

March 26, 2019 | 0 min read

The bloom period for stone fruit is almost complete in central and northern California. The bloom was the latest in recorded history for some crops in the San Joaquin Valley. The cold weather pattern in February delayed the bloom period significantly and will set back the crop timing this year. Apricot full bloom was a week later than it had historically ever been. The bloom was strong this year in most areas. The set should also be good with decent weather through most of the bloom period.
