California Strawberry - March 17, 2017

California strawberry production is moving along well with the recent good weather pattern in California. The Santa Maria district is currently running about two weeks behind where they were last year. Mexico and Florida shipments have slowed down, and pricing for fresh market strawberries is currently good. The dry weather pattern looks to be changing next week. It is possible that the wet weather will once more impact fresh picking in the state.
