California Cling Peach 5-9-2016

May 9, 2016 | 0 min read

California peach orchards south of Yuba City sustained serious damage from the hailstorm that hit the area last week. It is estimated  that up to 2,000 acres of cling peaches may have been affected by this along with prune, walnut, and almond acreage. The damage is still being assessed by field staff and growers with decisions being made about what can be done with the fruit remaining in these orchards.
