California Cherry Crop 3-18-2016

March 18, 2016 | 0 min read

The California cherry bloom that is currently out looks very good. Cherry trees in California have been blooming in areas around the state for the past three weeks. During part of that time there were heavy rains in the growing districts which could hamper the set of the crop for trees that were out in bloom at that time. Any trees that bloomed in the late February warm weather should set a good crop. The same is true of blocks that are out this week. The overall expectation is that the crop has the potential to be larger this year than in the past two seasons in California.
