California Bartlett Pear

May 21, 2015 | 0 min read

The California Bartlett pear crop is sizing well and should begin harvest around the first week in July this year. The crop estimates have not been published yet, but the expectation is for the Sacramento River district to be up around 10% over last year and for Lake and Mendocino counties to be up a little more than that. The cooler weather of late is helping with the growth of the crop.
