Fall planted strawberry acreage for winter production in California, Florida, and Mexico for 2019 is very similar to the previous year according to the acreage numbers published by the California Strawberry Commission. California will be down in total acreage, but it is driven by the late district of Salinas / Watsonville. There was an anticipation that Mexico and Florida would both be reducing their acreage by large amounts this year, but that does not seem to be the case.
