California’s water condition is much better this year than last year, but the drought has not been eliminated completely. The reservoir and snow pack levels statewide have improved over last season according to the California Department of Water Resources. The above charts are from their website and show an improved condition over what they looked like at this time last year. The southern half of the state is not doing as well as the northern half, but all areas have improved from last season. With continued rain and snow through February and March this would help increase the levels, but it may still not be enough to lift all water restrictions in the state, however, the situation is much better now than it has been in the past few years.
