Strawberry production in the Oxnard district is ramping up with heavier volumes of fruit being picked currently and more to come in the next few weeks. That district should be at its peak in about two to three weeks. Good fresh market pricing is happening at this same time as the industry prepares for the Easter holiday. The crop quality is very good, and very little fruit is being sent to processing channels currently.
