California fresh market strawberry volume continues to outpace the last five years. This is true even with reduced acreage in 2015. The season is running ahead of the early season we had in 2014. Fresh market pricing is still depressed as a result of this. The strawberry growers are hoping to have a strong pull from the retailers as Easter approaches. The processing companies could be in for early volume if fresh market conditions remain the same through the Easter holiday.
