California fresh market strawberry volume is still running way behind the past few years. The current volume YTD is the smallest it has been since 2007. Fresh market pricing has become very strong with the reduced volume. It looks like it may be a few more weeks until volume picks up in the north part of the state sufficient to satisfy current demand for fresh market strawberries.
