California Apricot

April 22, 2015 | 0 min read

The California apricot crop is set very light this year. The lack of chill hours this past winter appears to have affected the apricot crop. The consensus is for about 50% of an average crop. The processing price has not been set yet. It will most likely be set above the $500 per ton price of 2014. It could go up substantially based on what the crop set looks like today.
