Morning Break Wheat Bread
- 40 g Tree Top Apple Juice Concentrate / 6 oz. warm water
- 3 g Tree Top Drum Dried Apple Flake Powder, 20 M / 2 tbs. water
- 60 g Tree Top Pear Juice Concentrate
- 7.05 g yeast
- 13 g almond extract
- 6 g salt
- 96 g all-purpose flour
- 270 g whole wheat flour
- 33 g chopped almonds, optional
Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease a loaf pan.
In small bowl, combine apple juice concentrate with the 6 oz. warm water; add yeast. Set aside.
In another small bowl, combine apple flake powder with the 2 tbs. water. Add pear juice concentrate and almond flavoring. Set aside.
In the large bowl of a heavy duty mixer, combine dry ingredients. Make a well in the center of dry ingredients and add all wet ingredients. Combine with dough hook until dough rolls into a ball. Remove from mixer, knead lightly and place in well-greased loaf pan.
Bake for about 50 minutes.
Makes one loaf.
