Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease an 8" x 8" x 2" baking pan.
Rehydrate apples in concentrate/water mixture for at least 5 minutes. Drain well.
Mix brown sugar, 17 g flour, butter and cinnamon. In a separate bowl
mix sugar, shortening and egg; beat thoroughly. Stir in milk. Mix
together 209 g flour, baking powder and salt; stir into egg mixture
until smooth. Spread half the batter in baking pan. Cover with half the
apples and half the brown sugar mixture. Repeat layers.
Bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
