Apple Banana Betty Crisp
- 345 g Tree Top Apple Slices, Low Moisture or Evaporated, rehydrated
- 21 g Tree Top Apple Juice Concentrate reconstituted with 89 g water
- 2.30 g cinnamon
- 1.5 g salt
- 127 g sugar
- 3 bananas (301 g), sliced
- 262 g bread crumbs
- 41 g butter
Rehydrate apples in reconstituted apple juice for at least 5 minutes. Drain well. Combine apples and sliced bananas.
Combine cinnamon, salt and sugar. Sprinkle on apple and banana slices.
Saute bread crumbs in butter in a skillet until browned.
In a greased 8″ x 8″ baking dish, make alternate layers of bread crumbs and fruit, starting and ending with bread crumbs. Cover and bake at 375 F for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more, or until apples are tender.
