Preheat oven to 375 F. Lightly grease muffing tins, or use paper cups.
Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Add milk, egg and apples. Mix
just to blend for 45 seconds, slowly adding water. Fill muffin cups 2/3
full. Sprinkle with nut crunch topping. Bake for 25 minutes.
Makes 12 muffins.
